Established in 1988, Severance are a Wiltshire based 5 piece traditional heavy metal band, combining the best of classic British steel with a twist of European and US rock, for fans of Judas Priest, Iron Maiden and early Metallica. 

Their current live set features is a good mix of classic covers from the likes of Saxon, Iron Maiden, Diamond Head, Black Sabbath, Metallica, Judas Priest and more, with some of their own originals thrown in for good measure.

The lineup consists of twin lead guitarists, Chris Cholerton (who founded the band) and Jason Guppy, lead vocalist Mark Bridges, bass guitarist Reg 'Reg-onaut' Bowdrey and drummer Mark Rumble. 

The band have released several EPs, studio album (all of original material) and live album throughout the years and have plans for recording more music in the future. 

Continuously active since 1988, the band have played throughout the West of England and the UK.
